#  Friends of the Farlow Virtual Foray October 4-5, 2020

 The Friends of the Farlow is hosting a virtual foray from October 4-5, 2020: make any observation of fungi, mosses, lichens, or algae, in the New England area on **[iNaturalist ](https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/friends-of-the-farlow-virtual-foray-2020)**and we will compile it into a collection project to share the results! iNaturalist is a free online platform for making and sharing observations about nature. This virtual event is in place of the annual Clara Cummings Walk.

 **How to Participate**

 You can upload observations photos to the iNaturalist mobile app or the on iNaturalist.org

1. **Create an account** on **[iNaturalist.org](https://www.inaturalist.org)**, or download the Mobile App for **[iPhone](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/inaturalist/id421397028)** or [**Android** ](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.inaturalist.android)
2. **Join** the **[Friends of the Farlow project](https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/friends-of-the-farlow-virtual-foray-2020)** on iNaturalist.org
3. **Get outside!**  Take a walk anywhere in New England and take pictures any fungi, mosses, lichens, or algae you may find. You can take pictures with your phone and upload them to the iNaturalist App or take pictures with a camera and upload them to the iNaturalist website when you get home.
