The aim of this walk is to explore a very small section of the 899 acres set aside by the Trustees of Reservations in Hingham and Cohasset. Google Weir River Farm / Whitney and Thayer Woods for information. In addition to being the Friends of the Farlow's first walk since the beginning of the pandemic, our aim is also to provide The Trustees with a checklist of bryophytes, fungi and lichens that we observe on rocks, trees and soil. The Trustees are looking forward to the documentation of under documented species on their property. At the start of the walk, the group will decide which fork in the road to take, to the cell tower or to the American Holly Grove. Please pack a lunch and plenty of water.
