The Friends of the Farlow Clara Cummings Walk at Towle Land, Carlisle, Massachusetts

Kay Hurley, author of the recently published, Lichenpedia, will lead a walk along the trails in the Towle Land, 112 acres conserved by the Town of Carlisle and managed by the Conservation Commission. Join us as citizen scientists by sharing your knowledge of the local cryptogamic flora so that the FOF can generate lists of the diversity of fungi, lichens and bryophytes found on the site.  Trail maps will be provided. Location:  Meet in the parking lot at the Carlisle Town Hall.

Shared rides from the entrance to the Harvard Herbaria on Divinity St. are an option. Please contact Elizabeth ahead of time if you can either offer a ride or need a ride.
