World Fungus Day
October 7th is world fungus day. This was instigated in the UK and is coming to be recognized across the globe. This day provides a special opportunity to consider the importance of fungi in ecosystems, crop and human health. Harvard houses a large and important collection of fungi in the fungarium at the Farlow Library and Herbarium. This collection is worldwide in scope and supports research on fungi both locally and internationally. Over several years the the Farlow has sponsored lectures and activities. In recognition of the day, we have made these lectures available. We invite you to view these lectures which can be found on the Harvard University Herbaria and Botany Libraries YouTube Channel
